I was waiting to share, but lately, I’ve been getting so many clients holding my feet to the fire about updating the blog! And not even for their own events!!! They just want to see what’s going on, and well, let’s admit it…this summer has not been good for blog action. But there’s a reason, and things are going to change now that wedding season is slowly coming to a close. I still have stuff going on until early Nov, but not as much as this summer and then…well. Let’s talk about that at the end. I promised Jenn and Rob a teaser of their wedding yesterday ASAP! Jenn’s aunt graciously offered to hold their wedding at her farm and oh my was it amazing!! And on a day forcasted for hurricane weather, we got light I NEVER get to shoot in!! More details when I put up their full post, but for now…
What?? See that person on the left shooting?? That’s me!! Sometime in Jan or Feb, Patrick and I will be welcoming a new addition to our family. We are SOO excited! And blogging has been slow, because morning sickness is a total misnomer!! It’s more like all day, all night sickness, and for me, I still have it this far along. Not a problem for me, but it has made me super super slow, as many of you guys can attest to!
What does this mean for you? Barring complications (which.will.not.happen.) I’m going back to shooting the first week of April. I’ll get back to editing, meetings, and filling orders (outside of wedding orders places through collages, those are automatic) later that month. Emails will get answers as fast as I can answer them even during my maternity leave, but I make no time guarantees, because I haven’t had a baby before and I’m not sure how occupied I’ll be those first few weeks! But Patrick will be helping out and we’re going to make some arrangements to make getting our available dates and our rates easier for clients who need information.
Important to note!! I’m starting maternity leave Dec 15th! So, deadlines are strict, if you have things you need in a timely fashion.
Wedding album final design approvals must be given by Dec 5th.
Holiday card orders must be placed by Nov 1st (please remember this when booking your session!).
Any other custom orders must be placed by Nov 20th.
I’ve tried to stagger things, so I don’t get overwhelmed on Dec 5th and I can make SURE everything gets done. Of course this doesn’t affect you if you’re in no hurry. If anyone has questions, please call or email me!
