Coming soon…
This wedding NEEDS a slideshow, so that’s coming soon, but one while you’re waiting…

Vanessa & Sanand | 8.31.08 (part 3)
Finally we’re reaching the end! It’s been tough narrowing things down, so you’ll see lots of collages in this post.
Detail heaven.

There were about 20 attendants, but I wanted to show you at least SOME of their intros! What a great way to kick off the night!

And the bride and groom were not to be left out!

An awesome performance…

And theeeeeeeeeeen it was time for the Faaaaaaaaamily Fuuuuuuuuuuuuued! Poor Sanand! (PS. The girls won! But trust me when I say you didn’t want their prize!)

First dance..

And then all of a sudden silence and suspenseful music…What’s going on???

Sanand and Vanessa planned a surprise performance by Samba dancers for their guests!!

And then it was party time!

Thanks Vanessa, Sanand, bridal party and the rest of your friends and family! Patrick and I were certainly made to feel at home and we’re so grateful for the opportunity to capture your wedding for you!
Vanessa & Sanand | 8.31.08 (part 2)
A day late, but I’ll make it up to you with tons of images and a part 3! The day was so full of pretty, I can’t seem to cut things down for the blog!
Yummy details

Love the detail on this dress!

Since we had a few minutes, we captured some portraits…how stunning is our bride?

Sanand’s dad read to walk down the aisle…such a sweet man, he kept telling me to put the camera down and have fun during the reception! Good thing I didn’t, because I got some greats shots of him partying!!

Sanand waiting for Vanessa, awwww!

Gotta love this first kiss.

Finally some private time for the bride and groom! (Well, if you consider them, me, Patrick, two assistants and a coordinator private!)

Just a snap of the other side…love this venue!

A teaser for part 3:

I know the bridesmaids were missed in this post, so I promise, part 3 will have lots of bridesmaids photos!
Vanessa & Sanand | 8.31.08 (part 1)
The first thing I did yesterday, was drag my butt out of my house, over to a salon, to get the.best.pedicure.EVER. After 14 hours on my feet, I needed it!! But those 14 hours…so worth it. Wait till you see the gorgeous couple and the day they so carefully planned.
When my friend from college, Sanand, called to say he was getting married and he wanted to chat about photos, I was SO excited! And after meeting Vanessa, I knew it was going to be a great wedding. And I was right. We started out the day at the Hyatt Regency Princeton for their Hindu ceremony and then headed over to Grounds for Sculpture for their Christian ceremony. After some fun portraits with their HUGE bridal party (24 people!!!) we headed back to the Hyatt for their reception (which was full of surprises! See part 2 in tomorrow’s post for more on that).
I’m splitting this one up, because there’s just TOO many great photos to fit in one post!

Can you spot the bride?

Most fun groomsmen.EVER. I wish I could post ALL the pictures of the Baraat (the celebration with the groom on the horse headed to his wedding). So much fun!

See? Gorgeous, fun bridal party. Even if I DID have to force the sunglasses of later, hee!

One to tease for tomorrow…
