Last barbecue of the summer

:(

So sad right? Summer’s almost over, out go the cute dresses and flip flops, and burgers on the driveway. But I took some pictures so we can remember the warm days, lol!

The lovely M twins and their older sister are the stars of this post…The oldest Ms. M reminds me of me, when I was younger. Full of feisty attitude! I love it!

I’ve been tagged!

I’ve been meaning to make a change in the way I run this blog…from now on, more personal stuff too. And as luck would have it, I was tagged yesterday!

So 8 things about me people might not know…
1. I wanted to be a doctor til I was 18. Then my dad (a doctor) talked me out of it!

2. I watch The Hills obsessively, it’s my huge guilty pleasure!

3. I love anything and everything with elephants. They’re all over my house.

4. My husband is a very handsome, perfect, Puerto Rican man. I wonder every day how I go SO lucky :)   Hence the Indian first name, Spanish last name!

5. Gamehouse. LOVE puzzle games. I could play Sudoku, Sparkle, anything where I have to use logic (or hit bricks, lol) all day long!

6. Ever see those seeing eye images? Click to see one. Try one…my whole life, I can just see them, right away. I’ve been trying to teach my husband and he claims I’m nuts…what do you see in that picture??

7. Patrick and I are HUGE Harry Potter fanatics. We don’t just read the books, we over analyze. After the 7th book we had long conversations about Harry and religion and how JKR used her faith to create Harry in this amazing world. You know post-wedding depression? We never really had that…but we had really bad Post-Potter depression, lol.

8. Best of all!!! I ran into my wedding photographer recently (http://www.artoflove.com), Marie Labbancz, and she happen to be looking for an assistant for next season…so guess who’s her assistant for next year?? Me! There is so much I can learn, and I am SO thankful for the opportunity. I’ve never been more excited about dragging around someone else’s bag. I always said I wasn’t interested in shooting weddings, but I love weddings so much, and lately the pull has been getting stronger…I’m thrilled for this opportunity.

Time to go tag some others!!
